SPRING CHORAL CELEBRATION AT WPC!
Mark your calendars and come
enjoy an evening of choral music to be presented Friday, April 4, at
Mary Bozzuti
Higgins will be the featured soprano soloist. Other musicians will include
Brian Paul Thomas, organist/choirmaster at St. Marks Episcopal Church, New
Canaan, Naomi Senzer on flute, and Kathy Giampietro on oboe.
The Spring Choral Offering is
being presented as a gift to the community. Admission is free, but donations
will be accepted to help defray expenses. Seating will be on a first-come,
first-serve basis. A wine and cheese reception will follow the program in the
WPC Parish Hall.
Featured on the evening’s program
will be John Rutter’s “Requiem”, one of the most
popular choral masterworks currently being performed in concert. The chorus
will also sing Anton Bruckner’s “Locus Iste”, John Spafford’s terrific
arrangement of “It Is Well With My Soul”, and another Rutter composition, “Gaelic Blessing.” And a very special
work will be “Let Evening Come”, a piece specifically written and arranged for
concert by Clay Zambo, organist at Our Lady of Fatima
Church.

ADULT EDUCATION SPRING PROGRAM: Sunday Mornings at 9 AM in
the Conference Library: "The Language of God" By Francis S.Collins March 30, April 6, 27, May 4, 11. Dr. Collins is
one of the world’s leading geneticists and head of the International Human
Genome Project which successfully sequenced the hereditary code of life. In
"The Language of God," Dr. Collins describes his own journey from
atheism to belief as he unraveled some of the mysteries of human life. At the
session on May 4, we will be joined by Dr. William G. Kaelin,
Professor of Medicine at
AN OUTDOOR WORK DAY
9 AM to
Back by popular demand! Early
spring is a great time for the members of Wilton Presbyterian and St. Matthew’s
to clean and tidy the grounds of our churches. This is a wonderful time of fun
and fellowship for people of all ages.
Activities will include:

unless there is heavy snow or heavy rain. Bring shovels, pitch forks, rakes and
