SPRING CHORAL CELEBRATION AT WPC!

Mark your calendars and come enjoy an evening of choral music to be presented Friday, April 4, at 8 p.m., at Wilton Presbyterian Church. The assembled chorus will include choir members from Wilton Presbyterian Church, Our Lady of Fatima, and St. Matthews churches, along with members of the Wilton Singers.

Mary Bozzuti Higgins will be the featured soprano soloist. Other musicians will include Brian Paul Thomas, organist/choirmaster at St. Marks Episcopal Church, New Canaan, Naomi Senzer on flute, and Kathy Giampietro on oboe.

The Spring Choral Offering is being presented as a gift to the community. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to help defray expenses. Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. A wine and cheese reception will follow the program in the WPC Parish Hall.

Featured on the evening’s program will be John Rutter’s “Requiem”, one of the most popular choral masterworks currently being performed in concert. The chorus will also sing Anton Bruckner’s “Locus Iste”, John Spafford’s terrific arrangement of “It Is Well With My Soul”, and another Rutter composition, “Gaelic Blessing.” And a very special work will be “Let Evening Come”, a piece specifically written and arranged for concert by Clay Zambo, organist at Our Lady of Fatima Church.
