INVITATION
TO NEW MEMBERS. We welcome
friends and visitors at worship this morning. Should this be the right time and
season for you to join this family of faith, please speak with the Elder
Greeter, Mike Jenkins, the Pastor, or call the church office (762-5514). The
next regularly scheduled Session meeting to receive new members will be Sunday, January 20,

Frank Mabley’s sister, Kay, who is anticipating a
bone marrow transplant at the
STAFF
NOTES. The church office will be
closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 in observance of
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day….Office Manager Susie Gross will be on vacation
from Wednesday, December 26 through Monday, December 31. Thus, the last day the
church office will be open this year is Friday, December 21. So get your church
business dibs in this week! The office will re-open on

Senior Alban Institute
consultant Ed White will meet with members/friends of WPC to offer some
preliminary reflections on the NCD survey and Elder conversations with lapsed
members and, most importantly, to receive your questions, comments, concerns,
and suggestions.

Ed will be available for
one-on-one conversations with members/friends of WPC who desire to ask him
questions or to respond to some of his. To schedule time for such a

DISCUSSION
WITH SESSION
Ed will meet with members of
Session as part of their Stated Meeting to offer some insights and to receive
their input.
This, as all Session
meetings, is open to members of the congregation who wish to attend.
CHRISTMAS FLOWERS AND MUSIC: Contributions are being accepted in memory/honor of
loved ones for both the Music Fund and the Flower Fund. Their names will be
listed in the bulletins for the
GIFTS OF CHRISTMAS 2007: It is that time of year when we receive numerous
catalogs in the mail, but the most important catalog in your mailbox is the
Gifts of Christmas!! We have 28
organizations and 197 items to
choose from that will bring much happiness and meaning to
many deserving people throughout our community. You still have 2 Sundays to buy your amazing angels: Today and December 23rd. Please help to remember the true meaning of
Christmas this holiday season!!
