I have never thought of it this way before…WPC is younger than me! What a great celebration for all who have walked through the doors! Hugs to all!”...Sonny Gerquest has been a patient at Norwalk Hospital fighting an allergic reaction to antibiotics, but she was transferred back to Wilton Meadows on Tuesday….Mike Jenkins underwent knee surgery at New Milford Hospital on Friday…Jean Leinroth has been a patient at Norwalk Hospital this week (instead of home)… Phil Reinertsen is home recuperating with the tender loving care of his daughter, Laura and others…Former WPC member Faith Sherman was graduated in May from the Juilliard Opera Center, receiving her Artist’s Diploma. Kailey , a member of our 6th Grade Sixers Youth Group, will travel this August with a delegation to Alaska.  The People To People program was started in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to promote world peace through increased understanding between the citizens of our world.  Please stop by the market after church this morning to support this wonderful effort—you can even get the author to personally autograph your cookbook!

MANNA HOUSE: The second Tuesday of each month, volunteers from WPC help serve a meal to hungry and homeless people in South Norwalk. Set-up and preparation begins at 11:30 AM and the meal is served at 1:00 PM. We also need people to donate food as well as help prepare the meals in the WPC kitchen that will be taken to Manna House. If you would be willing to help in any way, please call Nancy Hayes at 761-9818. Your generosity is sincerely appreciated!

THE FIRST TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF WPC’S HISTORY is commemorated in the memoirs of its first two installed Pastors: W. Stewart MacColl’s Random Memories and J. Stephen Jacob’s Not Without Laughter. Copies of these memoirs are available on the table at coffee hour. Pick up your copies…and enjoy.

M. A. T. E. 2007

It’s that time of year!

Cookies and Snacks for M.A.T.E. lunches!

In the years past we have asked for your support.

This year is no different.

Lunch is a VERY important part of M.A.T.E.    COOKIES and/or SNACKS (like individually wrapped chips or crackers) really hit the spot when you have been working hard all day.  PLEASE HELP!

Starting June 18th please bring your donations to the church office.  There will be a place to put them outside the office door.
