INVITATION TO NEW MEMBERS. We welcome friends and visitors at worship this morning. We’re glad you’re here! Please join us for a cup of coffee following the worship service. (Juice is available for children). Should this be the right time and season for you to join this family of faith, please speak with the Elder Greeter, Mike Jenkins, the Pastor, or call the church office (762-5514). The next regularly scheduled Session meeting to receive new members will be at 9:30 AM on Sunday, June 24.

GOD’S PEOPLE HERE. Sonny Gerquest continues undergoing rehabilitation at Wilton Meadows…We hold in prayer Gary and Cindy Hogan, friends of a WPC church member. Gary is an Air Force Master Sergeant serving in Iraq while his young wife is fighting stage 4 cervical cancer and mothering their 5 year-old son, Michael, in Huntington Beach, California…Jean Leinroth and Phil Reinertsen have been patients this week at Norwalk Hospital…It was our privilege and pleasure to welcome home to WPC worship last Sunday erstwhile WPC member (and Williamsburg, Virginia resident) Linda Stephens, who was visiting with her daughter, Jennifer Fallon, and her family in Darien last weekend….Our congratulations to Jason Thompson, who will receive his Eagle Scout badge at a special Court of Honor next Sunday, May 27, 5:00 PM at Zion’s Hill United Methodist Church…Marjorie Wilkinson continues recuperating at home (and around town) from injuries to her jaw sustained in a fall on Friday, May 4.

ATTENTION FAMILIES WITH 2^ND GRADERS:  All WPC 2^nd graders are invited to join our annual 3-part Sacrament Education class this spring to learn more about the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.  This class will culminate with the 2^nd graders helping elders to serve communion to the congregation on Sunday, June 3.  This program is open to children of WPC visitors and members alike.  Class will meet before worship, at 9 AM, on Sundays, May 13 & 20 and June 3.  If you would like to register your child for the class, please contact Youth & Children’s Activities Director, Jane Field, at 762-5514 or janefield@snet.net.
