Jane Field has served as WPC's Director of Spiritual Formation since 2009. Before that, she served as WPC’s Director of Youth & Children’s Activities from 2004 to 2009, and as WPC’s Associate Pastor from 1990-1999. She also serves as the Youth Minister at Zion's Hill United Methodist Church in Wilton, one of the partner churches in the Joint Youth Ministries Program with WPC and Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church. In addition to directing programs for WPC’s middle and high school youth, Jane also directs WPC’s Small Group Ministries and its Women’s Ministries.
Ordained to the Ministry of Word & Sacrament by the Presbytery of Southern New England in 1991, Jane is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in New York City (M.Div. 90), Princeton University (M.P.A. *87), and Kalamazoo College (B.A. 85). She has also served churches in New York City and in rural Maine.
She and her daughter, Sophie, and their psycho-kitty, Frank, live in Wilton and enjoy listening to NPR (Jane), lacrosse goaltending (Sophie), and hunting small woodland creatures (Frank).
