Our Faith In Action Committee invites you to participate in our second “Midnight Run”,
Saturday evening, June 1, when a team From WPC will travel into NYC for a ministry of hospitality with the homeless. Here’s how you can be a part of it all:
1) Bring items such as: meat for sandwiches, loaves of bread, fruit, cookies, hard boiled eggs for bagged dinners; toiletries; new white tube socks and men’s underwear; gently used clothing & shoes for all ages. Look for the donation sign-up poster at coffee hour on Sunday, May 19 & 26. Items can be brought that night; non perishables can be dropped off at the church office in advance
2) Come and help us put it all together 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Saturday, June 1.
3) Participate in going on the run that night.
ALL AGES are welcome to help with steps 1 & 2; Adults and youth – 8th grade or older can be a part of the team going to NYC.
