As disciples of Jesus Christ,
We are a community of faith who celebrates the transforming and renewing power of God’s Spirit,
The excitement of involvement in response to God’s call,
The richness of the diversity of God’s creation,
The challenge of living out our faith and incarnating the word of God,
For the glory of God and the love of all humankind.
Amen.

Thurs. April 2 from 7-8:30PM in Parish Hall
 (Sponsored by the Deacons)

At the last supper with his friends, Jesus commanded them to love one another as he had loved them.
On Maundy Thursday, our WPC family will commemorate this event with fellowship, a shared meal and communion service.
After communion, the lights will be dimmed and we’ll depart silently by candlelight accompanied by the ringing of bells.
Please join us on this special evening as we renew our faith and recommit ourselves to live as Jesus did.

Deacons will be providing soup and will ask those who come to bring either:
2 Bottles of water, seltzer, lemonade, iced tea or juice; or
A loaf or two of bread, sliced and ready to share in a basket; or
A simple dessert (enough to serve 10)

Please RSVP to your Deacon no later than Monday, March 30. Those without an assigned deacon should contact Bruce Gehrlein: bruce.gehrlein@sbcglobal.net

Everyone is welcome (members, visitors, children and friends).

Back by popular demand!  Last year, we gathered reflections in a devotional booklet written by our congregants, covering the 40 days of Lent before Easter.  This year we are continuing our new tradition. Each day consists of a Scripture reading or poem and a personal reflection – all aimed toward directing your heart to God and deepening your understanding of the events that led to Easter.

The devotional booklet can be found by clicking on this link: Lenten Devotionals 2015. Paper copies can also be found on the table in our narthex.
