Help the Wilton Interfaith Action Committee (“WI-ACT”) meet our food-packing goal of 150,000 highly nutritious meals in one day…that’s enough to feed 400 malnourished children in a developing country for one year! These meals will be served in school settings where the children can learn as well as eat. Stop Hunger Now Inc. will be providing the materials and equipment as well as the instructors on-site for this operation. Click on the link: http://vols.pt/L2YEQU to sign up for a two-hour shift. GET YOUR HALLOWEEN LATTE-LANTERNS here! As a fundraiser for the WPC Memorial Garden renovation & expansion, the three Blessing girls (Caroline, Sofia, and Liliana – and anyone else who wants to volunteer to help) will be putting together and selling adorable ghost looking lanterns made of repurposed and decorated milk/OJ jugs with battery operated tea lights inside. These lanterns are perfect to help light the path for trick-or-treaters or just to decorate your front yard for the season. Suggested donation of $10 for a pair can be prepaid or paid when picking up the lanterns. Lanterns will be available for pick-up after worship service on the October 26. You can order decorated lanterns or decorate your own at that time. Click on this file MGFundraiserFormforweb download and order form or you can pick one up in the Narthex or at the church office. Please return your order forms by Sunday, October 11th.
PLASTIC MILK OR OJ CARTONS NEEDED! The Blessing girls would also greatly appreciate donations of empty plastic milk/OJ gallons or quarts to make the latte-lanterns. There will be a box to collect them before and after service the next 2 weeks and there is a box located outside of the church office.
